In Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Ferris and Cameron accidentally destroy a 1985 Modena GT Spyder posing as a Ferrari. What were they doing with the car when it gets destroyed?
Answer Reversing the miles on it
The 1985 Spyder was the perfect car to simulate a $300,000 Ferrari. Realizing they put way too many miles on the car, Ferris and Cameron attempt to reverse the miles by putting in on a jack and driving it backwards. But then disaster strikes. “My father spent three years restoring this car. It is his life, it is his passion,” says Cameron. To which Ferris replies, “It’s his fault he didn’t lock the garage.”
