In every person lies good and evil, says a man of science who puts his theory to the test in this 1931 film. Can you name this double-faced film?

Answer Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde

"Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" posits the uncomfortable question of personal control and just where the line between good and evil ends. Interestingly, Richard Mansfield played a double role as Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde in an 1887 stage version. His onstage transformation was so convincing that women in the audience fainted and men were frightened to walk home alone. The production moved on to London and opened in 1888, unfortunately coinciding with the murders of Jack the Ripper. Richard Mansfield's skillfulness in transformation actually convinced people he was the killer, and the production had to close.
