In the episode called "HOMR," Homer takes a gig working as a human guinea pig to pay off some debts incurred. During the experiments, he's discovered to have a crayon that's been lodged in his brain since he only 6 years old. When he agrees to have it removed to become more intelligent, he soon realizes that being smart doesn't make him happy. D'oh!
