A Jewish woman nursed Baby Moses, after which Moses' mother took on the duty. After a few years of mother-child bonding, the baby moved on to Pharaoh's palace, where he was named Moses. What does Moses mean?
Answer One drawn from the water
The name Moses sounds like the Hebrew word which means "drawn out," as in drawn out of the waters of the Nile, from where he came. Of course we all know that Moses will have the chance to deal with water a few more times in the next 40 years.
