In 2018, Coach Kevin Ollie was fired from UConn. Why?

Kevin Ollie won the NCAA tournament with the Huskies, but just a few years later he was fired with just cause after an NCAA investigation which uncovered multiple violations by the coach and the program. They were minor, but the violations included summer pick-up games that should have counted toward allowable team activities, a video coordinator engaging in impermissible coaching instruction and a booster providing extra benefits to student-athletes. The extra benefits were provided by a private trainer and included training, lodging, meals and local transportation.
