In 2012, what popular athlete was concluded to have used performance-enhancing drugs throughout his career?

Answer Lance Armstrong

Lance Armstrong, the world's most successful cyclist, only got that far thanks to cheating. In 2012, the United States Anti-Doping Agency held an investigation which concluded that Armstrong had used performance-enhancing drugs throughout his career. He was named as the ringleader of "the most sophisticated, professionalized and successful doping program that sport has ever seen". He then received a lifetime ban from all sports and all of his wins were stripped.
