I'm a uniquely carnivorous species native to subtropical wetlands. What type of plant am I?

Native only to wetlands on the East Coast of the United States in the Carolinas, the Venus Flytrap is an incredible carnivorous plant. This species lures insects to its spiky leaves, only to catch and digest them.
