After King Robert Baratheon's death, his son Joffrey was the first person to proclaim himself king. Balon Greyjoy, the King of the Aisles was not actually crowned on screen but his son mentions in a season two episode that his father was indeed crowned. Robb Stark was the third, styling himself The King in the North. Stannis Baratheon was the fourth.
