How many attractions existed when Disney's Magic Kingdom first opened?

Disney's Magic Kingdom opened with 23 attractions, 3 of which were unique to the park and 20 which were replicas of existing Disneyland attractions. The Walt Disney Company promised to increase this number over time, and with more than 40 rides and attractions at Magic Kingdom as of 2021, they kept true to their word!
