How loud was the loudest outdoor scream?

If you’ve ever been to a professional sporting event, you’ve seen the ability of a group of people to make a lot of noise, but you don’t need tens of thousands of people to move the sound meter. A group in Finland got together and produced a scream measured at 127.2 decibels, which is slightly below the level produced by a jet engine at 100 feet.
