As opposed to other Call of Duty games, how is the information relayed to the player in Advanced Warfare?

Unlike previous installments, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare doesn't include a conventional heads-up display (HUD). Instead, all information is given to the player through holographic projections from the weapon equipped.
