How does Grandma Pyle tell Gomer's fortune?

In the season 2 episode "Grandma Pyle, Fortuneteller", Grandma Pyle predicts Gomer's future using special cards. She foresees that something bad is going to happen to someone close to him and it will be his fault. Ultimately, everyone ends up safe and Gomer's goofy actions keep Carter from getting arrested.
