Alchemist Beer started producing Heady Topper and other flavorful brews from a small brewpub in the town of Waterbury, Vermont. After a flood destroyed the location in 2011, the company shifted to a distribution-only model until opening a new visitor's center and tasting room in the nearby ski community of Stowe in 2016.
