He is the father of NASCAR's all-time most successful driver. As a racer however, he was one of NASCAR's pioneers and one of its first superstars. He had a total of 54 wins, while competing in only 427 races. What's his name?
Answer Lee Petty
Lee Petty is the father of Richard Petty and the one who established the Petty name in stock car racing. He didn't only win races, but championships too. He won back-to-back titles in 1958 and 1959 after winning his maiden title in 1954. His consecutive titles made him the first driver to win three.
