The recipe, created by restaurant critic Alexandre Balthazar Laurent Grimod de la Reynière, starts with a warbler being shoved in a bunting. Then the bunting is stuffed into a lark and the lark into a thrush and — well, let's just say it ends 13 birds later with an Old World turkey called a Great Bustard. Gross.
