John Glover Roberts, Jr. has served as Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court since 2005. Roberts grew up in Indiana and attended Harvard Law School. As a lawyer, he has argued 39 cases before the Supreme Court himself, including several landmark cases. He served in the Department of Justice and the Office of White House Counsel under both President Ronald Reagan and George H. W. Bush.
