Famous for trashing his drum kits and hotel rooms with equal abandon, which rock 'n roll legend reportedly drove a Rolls Royce into the swimming pool of a Michigan Holiday Inn during a 1967 tour?

Answer Keith Moon

With hits like "My Generation" under their belt, The Who were in high spirits and feeling flush during their 1967 U.S. tour. After their Flint, Michigan concert, the band and 40-person entourage returned to the Holiday Inn for a now-legendary afterparty in honor of their drummer's 21st birthday. The record label kicked in an open bar and a massive cake; a drunken, raucous food fight ensued. Moon turned the festivities up a notch by blowing up his hotel room toilet with a stick of dynamite, setting off the fire sprinkler system and drenching the crowd. When the deputies arrived, Moon, naked from the waist down, tried to flee but slipped on a piece of cake and famously chipped his tooth. The Rolls came next.
