Every parent with a child over five years old knows this one (perhaps all too well). What's the name of this game?

Answer Life

Ironically, the squeaky-clean, nuclear family-oriented Game of Life started out as a much darker game. Invented in 1860 by none other than (a very young) Milton Bradley, the original name was Checkered Game of Life—to represent, as Bradley said, "the checkered journey of life." In his version, players who landed on "Suicide" ended up with a noose around their neck.
