During what futuristic year does Black Ops III take place?

Black Ops III is set in 2065, 40 years after the events of Black Ops II, in a world undergoing a dramatic transformation as a result of climate change and new technology. As with the previous installments, the narrative follows a group of Black Ops troops. Additionally, the game includes a separate zombies campaign mode and a nightmares mode, in which all opponents are transformed into zombies.
