Do you know this Jamaican legend?
Answer Bob Marley
Rasta legend Bob Marley (1945-1981) is widely considered the most important figure in reggae music history. Tragically, Marley died at age 36 in 1981 of malignant melanoma originating in his toe. At the time the cancer was discovered four years prior, the musician refused the recommendation to amputate his toe due to his Rastafarian faith, which considers amputation (even of hair) sinful.
