Ancient Greece is the original home of cheesecake. More than 4,000 years ago, Greeks on the island of Samos developed a rudimentary cheesecake of cheese, flour, and honey. Today, we're still enjoying their invention, and there's even a chain of restaurants dedicated to manufacturing the desserts.
