Car enthusiasts aren't big fans of automatic gearboxes, as they are less engaging to drive. Which one of these terms is used to refer to an automatic box?
Answer Slushbox
Surprisingly enough, the name "slushbox" does not come from the fact that most gearheads consider automatic transmission to be sluggish. Rather, it's due to the mechanics of an automatic transmission, which uses a fluid-filled torque converter to transfer power from the engine. And since that fluid slushes around...you get the idea.
