Grace Patricia Kelly was born in Philadelphia. She began acting when she was 20 years old, and although she was in more than 40 episodes of TV shows, she is most famous for her roles in the Hitchcock films "Rear Window" and "To Catch a Thief." At the age of 25 and after only five years of acting, she retired to marry Prince Ranier and became Princess Grace of Monaco. She had three children before dying from injuries sustained in an automobile accident at age 52.
