Brother and sister Richard and Karen were the members of what popular 1960s and '70s band?
Answer The Carpenters
Richard and Karen Carpenter were siblings growing up, and in 1965 they first performed together as a musical duo named for their last name. They produced some of the most iconic hits of the '70s, including "(They Long to Be) Close to You" and "We've Only Just Begun". Unfortunately, in 1983 Karen died from complications regarding an eating disorder, but the group's legacy has continued, making the Carpenters one of the best-selling artists of all time.
