Blame it on Florida man! What Supreme Court decision settled the recount dispute in Florida's 2000 presidential election?
Answer Bush v. Gore
Because of legal challenges brought up by both parties in the presidential election, the Supreme Court of Florida ordered ballots from Miami-Dade county to be tabulated by hand. The United States Supreme Court ruled that Florida's scheme for recounting ballots was unconstitutional. The Court also ruled (5-4) that no constitutional recount could be held in the remaining time.
