As an avid mountaineer, you know that the Seven Summits are the highest mountains on each continent. These are, in descending order: Everest, Aconcagua, Denali, Kilimanjaro, Elbrus, Mount Vinson, and Carstensz Pyramid. The first to do it was Richard Bass in 1985. If you really want to show off, go for the "Explorer's Grand Slam" by reaching not only the summits but the north and south poles too.
