Before the Dark Days, what was the industry of District 13?

District 13 specialized in nuclear technology, and was the home of the country's largest nuclear arsenal during the days of the First Rebellion and the Dark Days. Despite appearances, however, the District was not completely destroyed during the wars. Instead, they made a pact with the Capitol not to blow each other up with nukes, and instead hid in a giant underground bunker for decades.
