The story of Beck's beer is tricky, but it started out being brewed in Bremen, Germany, in 1873. After being acquired by Interbrew, which is owned by Anheuser-Busch InBev, production for American bottles was moved to St. Louis to save on shipping. Customers even won a class-action lawsuit over deceptive labeling.
