At 630 feet, the Gateway Arch is about as tall as a 60-story building. By comparison, the MetLife building in New York City is just about 700 feet tall. Behind the Gateway Arch in this photo, with the green lights along the roof, is Metropolitan Square, also known as Met Square, which rises 593 feet above the city.
