Albert Finney played Scrooge in the 1970 film, "Scrooge." Bill Murray played Scrooge in the 1988 film "Scrooged." Michael Cane was Scrooge in "The Muppet Christmas Carol" (1992). Michael Gambon played a Scrooge-like character in a "Doctor Who" episode and voiced a character, but not Scrooge, in a 2001 animated and live-action version.
