All good things must come to an end. Bad things too. Where did the Campaign for North Africa end?

Answer Tunisia

From November 1942 to May 1943, the battle was taken to the old stomping grounds of Carthage: Tunis, Tunisia. By early May, the Allies had the Germans cornered. With their backs to the Mediterranean Sea – a sea filled with Allied forces – the Axis troops were forced to surrender, Tunis fell to the Allies, and around 250,000 prisoners were taken.
