After the 10-day trek to the Nepalese Base Camp, you'll ascend the Khumbu Icefall to get to Camp 1, then a gradual climb to Camp 2, and a rigorous trek to the head of the Lhotse Face for Camp 3. Once at Camp 4, you're in the low-oxygen "death zone" at 26,300 feet.
