A mother hare will usually have two to three litters of babies each year. What is the name of a baby hare?
Answer Leveret
A baby hare is called a leveret, not to be confused with a baby rabbit, which is called a bunny. While baby bunnies are born temporarily blind and rely completely on their mother, baby leverets are born with sight and are able to move around on their own within an hour after birth.
