A bombing at the 1996 Summer Olympics resulted in the deaths of two people and injured more than 100 others. Where were these games held?
Answer Atlanta
A 40-pound pipe bomb filled with nails and screws was detonated in Centennial Olympic Park. A 44-year-old Georgia woman was killed in the explosion, and a Turkish cameraman died of a heart attack on his way to the scene. Bomber Eric Rudolph received four life sentences, plus another 120 years in prison as a result. Ironically, he used his "pro-life" stance as justification for the Olympic Park bombing.
