Be careful when entering this into a calculator, or you might get the wrong answer. Per order of operations, the first thing we should do is the 3 ÷ 1/3. When dividing by a fraction, you can also multiply by the reciprocal. So 3 ÷ 1/3 = 3*(3/1) or 3*3, which is 9. Then, you have 9 - 9 + 1, which easily evaluates to 1. Congrats!
