The flood account Noah faced takes up only a few chapters in Genesis, but his legacy lives on through the Bible, so put on your rain boots and pull out an umbrella. It's time to start raining down the Bible questions. These questions primarily cover content found in Genesis 5 through chapter 9.
Noah was not a ship builder, but he was asked by God to build a mega-cruise liner for animals - a floating zoo. There are so many questions about how he could manufacturer such a thing, but he had God as his architect.
The flood was a response by God to restart the human race, hopefully this time with kinder, gentler people. It was heading to a point of no return and only Noah and his family were considered worthy to survive and move the planet in a better direction.
The flood account takes up only a few chapters in Genesis, but his legacy lives on through the Bible, so put on your rain boots, pull out an umbrella, because it's time to start raining down the Bible questions.

-
AHe danced and celebrated
-
BHe built an altar and sacrificed some animals
-

It seems strange that Noah would sacrifice animals that he just kept alive for almost two years, but these animals were not part of the unique "pairs," but rather "clean" animals which he had plenty of (sheep, goats, doves, etc.). The sacrificial act showed his thankfulness to God for getting them to this point.

There is no verifiable archaeological evidence of an ark ever discovered, but the event happened 4,000 years ago and no wood could survive that long.

-
A120 years old
-
B450 years old
-
C600 years old

120 years
Before this, people like Adam could live any where between 350 to 900 years. But then God said "enough is enough," because people weren't doing anything productive during their time on earth except getting in trouble. So he limited the age to 120 years old - of course, today 120 years would be record-breaking.

-
BGoliathites
-
CNephilim
-
DSpartans
Nephilim
The Nephilim were a race that were bred rather imposing and strong. Speculation as to their spawning includes space aliens (weird), demonic half-breeds (unlikely), or just genetically large people like people from the Netherlands today. God saw their appearance as a possible takeover and a threat to his plan to establish a relationship with mankind.

-
AEating (gluttony)
-
BDrinking (drunkenness)
-
CStealing (larceny)
-
DMarriage (adultery)
Stealing (larceny)
Eating, drinking and marriage are not bad things until people indulge or break a promise. Stealing is stealing no matter what you call it. You can be sure that all kinds of bad behavior existed when the floods came, but Jesus does not mention stealing.

-
A35
-
B62
-
C100
-
D500

-
BSeven pairs of each kind, male and female
-
CNo limit because the birds flew outside the ark
-
DOne pair of birds that later evolved into all kinds of birds
Seven pairs of each kind, male and female
It's unclear why God asked for seven pairs of each kind of bird, except to say that will keep their various kinds alive throughout the earth. Maybe this was because since birds are more mobile, they could fly away from each other more easily than a female rhino can outrun a male rhino.
