The world is full of spectacular feats of engineering that were built to traverse the many bodies of water all around us. In this quiz, we'll see how much you know about these various structures. What's your over-under on this test?
Manhattan alone has 21 bridges and 15 tunnels connecting it to the rest of the world. Where do you think they got the term "Bridge and Tunnel" to malign the throngs of commuters that come into the city every day? Then you've got the Golden Gate, the Chesapeake Bay Bridge, the Chunnel, the 22-mile long Hangzhou Bay Bridge in China, and many more.
Without bridges and tunnels, we'd all be disconnected...literally. In this quiz, we'll test your knowledge of these various ways of traversing across waterways, from identifying them to exploring their history, to diving into the cities they serve. If you're smart, the over-under on this quiz is 20.
