There were a lot of "famous firsts" in space, from the first insect to reach orbit to the first man on the Moon, the progress was incremental and involved a lot of trial and error. Several animals were the first guinea pigs in space, and they didn't come back alive. Technical and mechanical errors led to the deaths of human astronauts too. But all of this was not for naught; it led to some of the greatest discoveries about our solar system.

Well this quiz exposed all kinds of never-before-heard "facts": There was a space shuttle named "Magellan'? I think not! And, the space shuttle orbited the moon? Really? It was not capable of breaking Earth orbit. Ever.
