The Book of Revelation has confounded scholars and prophesiers for two millennia. Its apocryphal language and stark imagery have frightened and stirred readers, always unsure of its meaning. The "Revelation" the writer received was revealed to him by God and it regarded nothing less than the end of the world. It's the last set of instructions given by God to mankind.
