The Book of Judges is a wild ride through an assortment of characters, some well known (like Samson) and some barely detectable on the radar (Jair). The better-known characters get a chapter or two following their extraordinary behavior, while the others get one line of description.
Like the Avengers, it's a motley crew with differing personalities and skill sets, but all working together to do the same thing: protect the homeland!
