Some games are simple to set up. Got a big bouncy ball? Great, let's play kickball. Got a deck of cards? Great, let's play gin rummy. Board games, however, are an entirely different animal. Take Monopoly, for instance. The standard Parker Brothers Monopoly game box contains 325 individual components! For some board game devotees, arranging every last piece is a labor of love. Others just want to get the setup over with as quickly as possible so they can get on with the game.

The type who wouldn't dream of rolling a single die until the very last page of the instruction booklet is read. We're talking about the setup, the procedures, the objectives, the scoring, the penalties... the rules of the game! Even those of you who aren't complete rule-mongers will enjoy this quiz. If you love board games (and if you've gotten this far, we assume that you do), you likely have at least a little appreciation for the value of an agreed-upon set of rules in a group game setting. After all, what fun is winning without your opponent's validation?
