The story starts in a world where humanity's remnants reside inside three cities, each surrounded by enormous walls. The walls exist to protect humans from Titans - giant humanoid creatures that devour humans for no apparent purpose. The series follows Eren Jaeger and his friends whose lives are forever altered when a Colossal Titan kills their families.
